| Japanese-Canadian Jana Sasaki is foremost a printmaker and a photographer, and now a second time animator. Jana explores her heritage, the artifice of photography and her love of music combined with the visual arts in her three most recent bodies of work. A BFA graduate from Thompson Rivers University, Jana has exhibited her work locally and internationally in venues located in Japan, USA, Korea and Romania. Her most recent animation "Hapa-Ways From Home" won second place at the KISS - Kamloops Independent Short Short Film Festival. |
